Our English Department empowers students through an engaging, school-based curriculum enriched by two Native-speaking English Teachers (NETs). With a strong emphasis on literacy, we cultivate enthusiastic readers using the Primary Literacy Programme – Reading and Writing (PLP-R/W) in Key Stage 1 and interactive reading workshops in Key Stage 2. We stretch high-ability learners through targeted enrichment programs, while bringing language to life for every child through real-world outdoor learning activities and creative performance arts—including English Drama, mini-dramas, and the Speech Festival.
